I have a scar on my chin from the first stitches I got when I was in the 4th grade. I tripped over an uneven sidewalk and landed on a water fountain watching Ginny Potter instead of watching where I was going. It didn’t hurt that much but I thought that maybe the anesthetic wouldn’t work on me, that somehow I was different and unique from everyone else. Maybe God would somehow not let it work on me that somehow I was the only person in the world that it wouldn’t work on. I was wrong though it did work. I learned a lesson in the 4th grade. I’m not so unique and special from other people that I thought I was and it’s important to watch where you’re going...
